The Australian ARV Guideline Committee acknowledges the updated U.S. Department of Health and Human Services HIV Guidelines (September 2025). Updates to the Australian ARV Guideline Commentary are currently on hold, pending a major update planned for late 2026. Feedback or questions can be directed to ASHM.

The ASHM Adult HIV Antiretroviral (ARV) Guideline provides Australian commentary on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) HIV treatment guidelines, published through ClinicalInfo.HIV.gov. Drawing on these evidence-based guidelines, ASHM contextualises these guidelines to provide locally relevant recommendations for Australian clinical practice.
